I didn’t. I just wanted to have enough confidence to stand in front of a crowd, and not go completely red.
I just wanted to have a healthy self-esteem and be able to communicate effectively.
And what a journey that’s been over the last 40+ years (I know, I don’t look it right?)
Make me a Rockstar was birthed out of my love for people, and music.
To create a business that helps stars of all ages “unlock” their voices, and be all they were created to be.

Recording Party Packages
Have a child or tween who doesn’t know what they want to do or they want something SUPER EXCITING and UNIQUE for their birthday? Our awesome Rockstar Recording Package is great for all ages.
Imagine your child having this unique and memorable experience. They dress in their Rockstar gear and are so excited about the day that’s about to unfold.
We come to you and set up the red carpet, they get their ticket and meet Lauren (AKA Jessie J in the inner circle as she sounds just like her, and hey, she’s a vocal coach!) They do warm-ups, learn about vocal and microphone technique and all about the behind the scenes of a recording studio as they record their favourite song/s.
Of course your child is the centre of attention, with their friends being the backing vocals. They will have a blast singing together and then listening back over and making any changes as requested by the stars. Paparazzi take a stack of photos, making them feel like real Rockstars! Those photos are then put on a CD cover, sent right to your front door and remaining photos emailed to you as a reminder of the incredible experience your child has had! Rockstar Movie package
Kids and tweens always answer this question in the same way.
‘What do you wanna be when you grow up?”
You might expect that you will get lots of options and different answers from kids for this question, right?
WRONG.
In the last few years now, kids I talk with answer this question in this ONE way:
FAMOUS.
That’s what they are into. They all want to be Rock Stars.
I am guessing they get the idea for that from the MANY TV Shows that are reality TV or singing contests, or just from having a phone with a camera on them at all times. They know how to pose for selfies better than I do, and I’m an adult!
But how do you empower a kid in their birthday then… if all they want is to be famous…
Can you give them a present of 100 extra followers on Instagram? How about more likes on their posts?
“Hey Indi! For your 8th birthday I got you 10 new facebook friends!”
So instead of fighting this trend… I have decided to create a really cool EXPERIENCE for them.
That helps them FEEL FAMOUS and be a star.

Rock Star Movie Party!
Imagine the kids singing on microphones, after walking into the room on a red carpet.
Imagine your kids’ friends and the birthday kid filming against a green screen, with costumes.. Doing fun stuff that kids do.. but becoming famous while they are at it.
Imagine the kids go into a Selfie corner, put on some hairspray and take photos.
They dance, they sing. They are Rockstars for a day.
They LOVE it!
Like always with most of our parties we do 2 hours of jam-packed fun for up to 20 kids, and is more appropriate for ages of 7-12.
The kids are not the only peeps that enjoy this birthday – last week we had Sarah (Anna’s mum) send us a message. “You ROCK. This was a PERFECT party and the kids had a blast! We loved seeing the video afterwards too. Reliving the party was the best! Thank you!”
We have been doing concept birthdays for over 8 years now and we know kids like singing and dancing, but this one is slowly becoming the most popular as it’s the most unique party experience. I am truly blessed to be able to use my music background (as a grad on Music from Excelsia) to empower kids and make them feel special on their birthdays.
